This was also the second worst month of the year, after October, in terms of cinema attendance numbers, says the ICA statement, specifying that in the total for the year up to the end of November, 9,646,756 viewers were counted, 8.7% less than the 10,568,122 registered in the same period last year.
Regarding revenue, in November, Portuguese cinemas had a financial intake of €4.36 million, €1.8 million less than in the same month of 2024, representing a decrease of 29.6%.
In the full year, up to the end of November 2025, cinemas collected €61.9 million, representing a decrease in gross revenue of 5.1% compared to the same period last year.
The list of most-watched films of the month is led by “Wicked: For Good”, by Jon M. Chu, with 78,000 viewers, followed by the animated film “Zootopia 2”, by Byron Howard and Jared Bus, with 65,000.
The most-watched film up to November 30th was “Lilo & Stitch,” with over 666,000 viewers, followed by “A Minecraft Movie,” with 503,000 viewers, and the Brazilian film “Ainda Estou Aqui” (I'm Still Here), by Walter Salles, in third place with 385,000 admissions.
The most-watched Portuguese film of the year is “O Pátio da Saudade” (The Courtyard of Saudade), by Leonel Vieira, with 69,000 viewers.
