AirAdvisor has introduced the world’s first fully online tool to help passengers claim compensation for lost or delayed luggage. Travellers can now submit claims quickly and easily, potentially receiving up to €1,920 under UK and EU regulations.

The platform streamlines the process by automatically checking eligibility and calculating compensation based on airline, route, and relevant laws, including EU261, UK regulations, and the Montreal Convention. Users can securely upload required documents like PIR, receipts, and inventory forms.

Anton Radchenko, AirAdvisor’s CEO and an expert in aviation law, says most passengers are unaware of their rights and find the current process too complex. “We’ve removed the legal jargon and red tape to make it simple for travellers to get what they’re owed.”

In Portugal alone, around 110,000 bags are lost or delayed each year, representing up to €201 million in potential claims, most of which go unclaimed due to a lack of awareness or accessibility.

The tool supports claims against over 50 airlines, including British Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Lufthansa Group (SWISS, Australian Airlines, Brussels Airlines), Air France, KLM, United, Delta, Turkish Airlines, TUI Airlines, and Jet Blue, among others.
