Trips take place on Saturdays and Sundays until January 4th, 2026, on what is the only narrow-gauge railway line in operation in Portugal. The train, composed of a locomotive and historical carriages and adorned with lights and decorations, promises to enchant children and adults, featuring elves on board.
It will also be possible to visit the Macinhata do Vouga Railway Museum, a Christmas market with typical regional products, and admire the emblematic Christmas decorations of Águeda, including the Largest and Smallest Santa Clauses in the World and the famous "Umbrella Sky".
Boarding will be at Aveiro Station at 1:45 PM, and the return trip from Águeda is scheduled for 7:20 PM, arriving in Aveiro at 8:07 PM.
The round trip costs €41 (adult), €25 for children (4 to 12 years old), and €37 for groups (minimum 10 people).
