The proposal would create an EU-funded scheme to help women travel to other member states for abortion services where access is restricted at home. The vote passed with a majority in Strasbourg, and the initiative now goes to the European Commission.

The scheme targets disparities in abortion access across EU member states, and supporters argue it would improve cross-border healthcare access for women.

Women have always had the right to reproduce. Prior to 1965, they did so voluminously. What we have today is the Orwellian nonsense that should instead be termed Non-reproductive rights since the whole point is to make women incapable of reproducing.
