The campaign ran from October 14 to 20 and aimed to alert drivers to the risks of driving and speeding, one of the main causes of road accidents.

In total, 5,603,754 vehicles were inspected and 23,724 traffic violations were recorded, 14,829 of which were related to speeding.

The campaign was developed by the National Road Safety Authority, the GNR (National Republican Guard), and the PSP (Public Security Police) and also involved the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira.
