Bako Motors’ cars have been able to generate up to 50 kilometres of free daily charge from sunlight, reducing reliance on charging infrastructure. The affordable models aim to expand access to clean mobility while supporting local manufacturing and growing demand for electric vehicles.

The vehicles have been built using around 40 percent locally sourced materials and are designed for urban transport and delivery. The company plans to scale production and expand exports, positioning solar-powered mobility as a practical solution across sun-rich regions.
