The performance is part of the tour for the show "The Monolith," which is billed as "the most ambitious of his career."

David Guetta will perform on 2 August at Parque Papa Francisco, in Loures, presenting "a large-scale format that marks a new phase in the trajectory of the French artist," according to the promoter Sodade.

"Considered the most ambitious show of David Guetta's career, 'The Monolith' proposes an experience that crosses sound, image and emotion, based on a unique scenography that elevates the traditional concert format and redefines the limits of live performance," says the promoter.

The French DJ's new show, designed for large spaces, is based on a central LED structure that serves as both a stage and a dominant visual element, the promoter explains.

"From this starting point, the show unfolds through a strong technical component, utilising 3D mapping, synchronised visual content, and a highly choreographed lighting design, creating a continuous relationship between sound and image," the statement says.

The first part of the show will be provided by artists invited by David Guetta, whose names "will be announced soon."

Other tour dates have already been announced, including names like Armin van Buuren, Fisher, and Black Coffee.

David Guetta has performed several times in Portugal, notably at the Sudoeste festival, where he has returned regularly.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous artists, including Usher, Sia, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Kelly Rowland, Kid Cudi, and Black Eyed Peas.

Among David Guetta's most popular songs are "Titanium," "Memories," "Without You," and "When Love Takes Over."

Tickets for David Guetta's performance at Pope Francis Park, prices of which have not yet been released, will go on sale starting at 9 am on Thursday, 9 April.
