Figures released by Transavia show that the airline carried more than 430,000 seats between France and Portugal and more than 260,000 seats to and from the Netherlands and Brussels, Belgium, compared to 420,000 in 2024.
"The Portuguese market remains a strategic market and a continued commercial success for Transavia, and the 2025 summer peak results are proof of this," said Julien Mallard, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Transavia France.
The executive also states that, "at the same time, popular routes such as Porto – Paris-Orly, Lisbon – Paris-Orly, Faro – Amsterdam, or Lisbon – Amsterdam remain at the top of our customers' preferences," also confirming that the Franco-Dutch airline remains "fully committed to this dynamic and evolving market, which plays an important role in our own history."
In terms of seats sold at the peak summer of 2025, Porto – Paris-Orly (66,000 seats) and Lisbon – Paris-Orly (54,000) in France, or Faro – Amsterdam (59,000) in the Netherlands, were among the top five best-performing routes between Portugal and the domestic markets (plus Belgium) for the Air France-KLM Group low-cost carrier. In terms of load factors, which averaged 91% in France and 88% in the Netherlands, the best-performing routes were Montpellier – Lisbon (97%), Lisbon – Paris (95%), and Lyon – Porto (94%), along with Eindhoven – Lisbon (94%).
