Iceland Foods has become the world’s first retailer to launch a national food waste reduction scheme in partnership with both Olio and Gander.

This month, over 900 UK stores have begun offering real-time updates on discounted surplus food through the two apps, helping households save money and reduce food waste.
The decision follows a successful trial in Bristol and London, marking another step in Iceland’s commitment to support more sustainable retail practices.
