Despite the current speed limit of 120km/h on Spanish motorways, drivers cruising on the AP-7 near El Vendrell will now be able to travel up to 150km/h, making it the first trial of its kind in the country.

Drivers will not be fined if they exceed 120km/h in the area, while the AI-controlled speed limits could change the maximum cruising pace according to factors such as weather conditions, the amount of traffic, time of day, and even road conditions.
