According to the municipality of Beja, the giant Bolo Rei will be a “celebration that promises, again, to reunite hundreds of people around the tradition, sharing and the sweet aroma of the Kings’ Day celebrations.”

The initiative results of a partnership between the municipality and Pastelaria Luiz da Rocha, an establishment that already achieves “133 years of existence” and that is “recognised for its quality and preservation of the traditional recipes of the regional gastronomy.”

With this event, the Alentejo municipality closes the commemorations of the programme “É Natal em Beja”, which has been celebrated since December.
