More than just a boutique hotel, Inspira Santos was designed as an open space for both guests and locals, aiming to be a place to work, relax, enjoy a drink, or join one of the many social activities, from DJ nights and open-air cinema to karaoke and board games.
The hotel offers a range of distinctive accommodation options tailored to different types of guests. “We’re creating flexible stays that don’t have to be just for one night. They can be for a week, a month or even longer,” explains Tiago Pereira, General Manager.
For solo travellers or backpackers, Solo Rooms offer a smart and affordable option, while Suites with bunk beds and sofa beds cater to groups seeking comfort and shared experiences. The Street Loft, with private access from Rua da Esperança, features a fully equipped kitchen and courtyard, making it ideal for extended stays. On the top floor, the Fifth Penthouse offers two king bedrooms, private balconies and direct lift access, embodying a rare high-end residential concept in Portugal.
In total, Inspira Santos offers 65 rooms, comprising 59 standard rooms, four suites, one penthouse, and one Street Loft suite.
True to the Inspira brand’s ethos, the hotel combines comfort and design with a deep commitment to sustainability. Built entirely from carbon-neutral materials, it also offsets guest stays through national biodiversity conservation projects. Every stay contributes directly to reducing environmental impact, being a reflection of Inspira’s vision of hospitality with purpose.
Located in Lisbon’s Design District, Inspira Santos celebrates creativity. The hotel features a striking 10-metre installation by artist OSIR, crafted from recycled glass and connecting art, architecture and the local spirit. In collaboration with APPDA Lisboa (Portuguese Association for Autism and Developmental Disorders), the hotel also launched “Arte com Propósito” (Art with Purpose), a community initiative promoting inclusion and sustainability through artistic expression.
