According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), the islands of the Western group (Flores and Corvo) will be under a yellow warning between 3:00 a.m. local time (plus one hour in Lisbon) on Wednesday and midnight on Thursday, due to "sometimes heavy rainfall, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms."

For the islands of the Central Azores group (Pico, Faial, São Jorge, Terceira, and Graciosa), the yellow warning, for the same reasons, will be in effect from 2:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
