The band led by Jason "Jay" Kay, founded in the 1990s, will perform at the festival on July 18, according to the promoter in a statement released today.
Tickets for this "unique concert in Portugal" will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 19, on the official Ageas Cool Jazz website.
"With over 30 years of history and countless hits, the band brings its unmistakable musical identity to the festival. With Stevie Wonder as inspiration, Jamiroquai explored jazz in electronic music, funk, soul, and disco. The result is a career full of hits that have invaded dance floors for decades, with songs like 'Virtual Insanity,' 'Cosmic Girl,' 'Little L,' and 'Seven Days In Sunny June,'" recalls the promoter.
Throughout their career, Jamiroquai has performed several times in Portugal, most recently in 2018 at the Marés Vivas festival in Vila Nova de Gaia.
The Cool Jazz festival returns to the Manuel Possolo Hippodrome and Marechal Carmona Park from July 1st to 31st, 2026.
