Guia Sports Center will be the epicentre of these celebrations, starting at 7 pm, with free admission, with an event that promises to attract residents and visitors for moments of fellowship and joy.

The program includes concerts, food stalls, and traditional cuisine. On Saturday, August 30th, Emanuel & Tânia and Íris will take the stage, while on Sunday, August 31st, Humberto Silva and Rebeca will provide music. The festivities conclude with a fireworks display.

In addition to the recreational component, the Guia Festivals keep the religious aspect alive, with celebrations in honour of Our Lady of Guia and St. Luís. On Saturday, at 8:30 pm, Mass and a procession begin at the Chapel of Our Lady of Guia, while on Sunday, at 6 pm, Mass and a procession begin at the Guia Parish Church.

Organized by the Guia Parish, with the support of the Albufeira City Hall and local associations, these festivities also benefit from the collaboration of the Guia Parish, which is responsible for the religious programming.

For the president of the Parish Council, Dinis Nascimento, "the Guia Festivals are a very special moment for our parish, because they bring together the tradition, culture, and joy of our people."
