The winning duck owner was Elke Beckmann, whose duck crossed the finish line well ahead of the second-place duck owned by Rotary Club member David Trubshaw.

€1000 was raised towards the costs of accommodation and flights for the students of Escola Agrupamento Silves Sul who will be attending the Model United Nations meeting at Cheadle Hulme School in Cheshire, UK. The two teams of 6 students made up of from the Algoz and Armação de Pera campuses will be representing Angola and Portugal at the Model United Nations gathering.
