Data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography have highlighted a steady increase in visits to the country since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.

More than 8 million tourists arrived into Mexico in June, an 11.5 percent increase over the same month last year, earning the foreign currency reserve a total of $2.7 billion.
On average, each visitor spent $343 dollars during their stay in June, while those arriving by air spent $1,000.
