In a statement, the Central Alentejo Intermunicipal Community (CIMAC), which organises the 19th Gala in partnership with the Vila Viçosa City Council, indicated that the event is scheduled for the 13th, at 9pm, at the cinema-theatre in that Alentejo town.

“In this edition, more than 120 distinctions will be awarded, recognising the career and performance of athletes and teams that have achieved prominent positions in national and international competitions,” added CIMAC.

The awards cover various sports, including athletics, badminton, basketball, boccia, cycling, gymnastics, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, motorcycling, artistic swimming, sport fishing, parachuting, and rugby.
