Leonardo Pierdomenico will perform two concerts, the first one on Tuesday, 21 April, with compositions evocating “the Sound of Light” by Rameaux, Debussy and Scriabin, and the second about “Chopin’s Legacy” on Thursday, 23 April, when he will play works by Chopin, Debussy, Szymanowski and Scriabin. Both concerts will take place in the Auditorium of OS AGOSTOS near Santa Bárbara de Nexe (see www.OsAgostos.com. Doors open at 6.15pm and the concert will begin at 7.00pm.

Leonardo Pierdomenico (born in Pescara, Italy) is an acclaimed Italian pianist recognised for his refined sound and technical mastery. A graduate of the Conservatorio Luisa D’Annunzio and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia under Benedetto Lupo, he gained international attention as a semi‑finalist at the 2016 Queen Elisabeth Competition and as winner of the Jury Prize at the 2017 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
Earlier, at just 18, he won the prestigious Premio Venezia. He has since performed with major orchestras across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, earning praise for his expressive interpretations.
