According to data released by the European statistical service, the annual inflation rate in the eurozone was 1.9% in December 2025, compared with 2.4% in the same period last year and 2.1% in November.

In the flash estimate released at the beginning of the month, Eurostat indicated an inflation rate of 2.0% in December in the countries of the single currency.
